“Think: The alt-pop aesthetic of the 1990’s run through the prism of a solid gold AM radio” -LA Magazine
Heather herself is front and center as a solo artist. It’s a record about heartbreak for sure, but not about feeling sorry for yourself. “It's about owning my own role in the heartbreak and finding joy in the process of falling and getting back up again,” says Heather.
Songs like “Be Mine Tonight” and “Walk Away” reflect a sort of resilience and optimism, while “Ivy” shows a more somber and reflective side of the story. As she always has, Heather tells a story in each song that’s true to where she is in the moment. That authenticity is how Heather has always been able to connect to her listeners and why she’s excited to share her new material with her fans.

The Murmurs The Murmurs 1994
Label: MCA Records Produced by Roger Greenawalt and Billy Basinski
The first major label release for The Murmurs. This album features acoustic guitars, lots of harmonies and whimsical interpretations. The first single off of this album was the hit song “You Suck” followed by “All I need To Know”.
The first independent release of The Murmurs. An album full of sweet, reverbed harmonies and idealistic lyrics. What you’ll hear is the beautiful first pass and journey of two young hippy singer songwriters. This album may be long winded but it’s well intended and relatable if you’re not yet jaded. "Who Are We" by The Murmurs is just the beginning of what would become an era.
